Rev. Phylis founded The SEC in 1997, and continues on as the Senior Minister and Spiritual Director. Her spiritual roots are in the New Thought movement and her entire adult life has included the study and practice of metaphysical philosophies based upon Universal Truth.

An ordained minister, Rev. Phylis is also a professional speaker, teacher, artist, workshop facilitator, spiritual counselor and author of the book, Soul-Esteem: The Power of Spiritual Confidence. She is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and the Ernest Holmes College School of Ministry in Orlando, Florida. For seven years, Phylis was a Dale Carnegie instructor. She has also managed several businesses and owned her own interior design firm.

Rev. Phylis' intention is to assist individuals to develop soul-esteem as they evolve and grow spiritually, thus becoming happier, more peaceful and more productive human beings. She is committed to encouraging, empowering and inspiring her audiences with her sense of humor, her experience and the occasional gentle "nudge".

DETOUR ALERT!!!
Due to road construction at Dorsett & I-270, there is a detour until November to access Progress Parkway and The SEC. It’s EASY to get here.

Go east one block from Progress Pkwy & turn in at Weldon Pkwy. Turn right at Kimler. Go 2 blocks and turn left unto Progress Pkwy. SEC is on your right.
