Focus and Philosophy

The SEC believes in encouraging children and teenagers to explore spirituality in a fun-loving and accepting environment.

We teach metaphysical principles and universal spirituality using age-appropriate materials including the Judeo-Christian Bible and other sacred texts and spiritual material.

Open inquiry, an appreciation of diversity, fostering tolerance and forgiveness, and bringing children's own experiences into the classroom are part of the discussion and learning.

Classes / Events

All children are invited to attend Sunday classes during the 10:30 a.m. service. Youth opportunities include:

Toddler Care (ages newborn to three years)
Children's Gatherings (ages 4-7 and 8-12)
Teen Gathering (ages 12-18)

Volunteering Opportunities

To volunteer to assist as a youth leader, contact our Youth Director, Meegan Kainady at 636-240-1295 or email her at: youthleaders@theseckids.com. You can also find out more by calling our office at (314) ASK-SOUL.

Soul-Esteem Teens!  You can send Meegan Kainady a Friends Request, or you can send an Invitation Request. Bring your questions and concerns and come ready to learn, share, grow and help others do the same! Help us plan the calendar for future teen activities!
