What's a service like at The Soul-Esteem Center?
Each hour-long service, or gathering, at The SEC includes a metaphysical message, prayer, guided meditation, live music, background video – and more! Rev. Phylis Clay Sparks generally presents the message, with a guest speaker on occasion. Her practical spiritual message is filled with universal principles, stories, humor, examples and easy to understand approaches to self-mastery. There is frequent reference to sacred texts from the world's great mystics and contemporary metaphysical thinkers. The congregants are then invited to participate in the sacrament of giving followed by a blessing and a guided meditation/healing prayer. The service closes with announcements and our children, teens and teachers joining the service to share what they learned. We end with everyone stating an affirmation for the week and singing a closing song. Light snacks are available during fellowship, and spiritual mentors are on hand to support and pray with individuals about their concerns.

Go east two blocks from Progress Pkwy & turn right at Weldon Pkwy. Turn right at Kimler. Go 2 blocks & turn left unto Progress Pkwy. SEC is on the right.
