Trained Spiritual Mentors at The Soul Esteem Center provide support and prayer in time of decision, need or crisis. This service is offered in a confidential, nonjudgmental and loving atmosphere. The mentor can help an individual build spiritual confidence and empower them to demonstrate well-being in their lives. They will pray with you, help you explore options, and draw forth your own inner wisdom.
The assistance given by a Spiritual Mentor is a short-term service and is not a substitute for ongoing psycho-spiritual counseling or therapy.

Listen and Pray
Mentor volunteers are available to meet with you after The Gathering on Sunday mornings for up to 15 minute sessions. He/She can help you gain a spiritual perspective on the challenges in your life and offer a safe and confidential setting for you to share your concern. They also offer prayer support and references to resources at the SEC and in the community. Look for available mentor volunteers at the Information Table.
Hospital/Home Ministry
Our mentors offer prayer support and are available upon request to visit to those who are hospitalized or homebound. If you need this service turn in a prayer request or call the SEC office at (314) ASK-SOUL (275-7685).
Prayer Ministry
By turning in a prayer request you enlist the support of a team who declares the spiritual Truth for you and acknowledges God's power and presence in all that concerns you. You will receive our confidential prayer support regarding your request for one week. Submit a prayer request on this website, or complete a form that you will find on the Information Tables at The SEC. Place your request in the labeled prayer box or give it to an usher.
