Metaphysical Spirituality: A study of the nature of God and humankind's relationship to the Divine. an exploration of ultimates beyond literal interpretation, beyond physical data, and beyond the five-sensory world. It embraces the multi-sensory dimensions of intuition and direct knowing as they apply to the integration of mind, body and spirit. It is the study of consciousness evolution.
God: Supreme Being; the All-In-All, Unmanifest and Manifest. Universal Spirit, or Divine Self Who individualizes as Centers of Consciousness for Self-awareness. Truth; Life; Love; Mind; Soul; Spirit; Principle. Infinite Intelligence; the One; the Great Whole; the Absolute.
Consciousness: 1. The state or condition of being conscious.
2. A sense of one's personal or collective identity, especially
the complex of attitudes, beliefs, and sensitivities held by or
considered characteristic of an individual or a group: Love
of freedom runs deep in the national consciousness.
3. a. Special awareness or sensitivity: class consciousness;
race consciousness.
b. Alertness to or concern for a particular
issue or situation: a movement aimed at raising the general
public's consciousness of social injustice.
4. In psychoanalysis, the consciousness.1
Cosmic Consciousness: God Consciousness. A consciousness of wholeness.
Individual Consciousness: An individualized energy field of concentrated spiritual energy shaped by our awareness and the sum total of our thoughts, feelings and beliefs. The Universe responds to the activity of consciousness, not to physical activity.
Energy: Metaphysically may be used synonymously with Life or Spirit, as in "Divine Energy." Often used with reference to inherent power.
Mind: A synonym for God. The Creative Factor extending from Universal Being through Individual Being and reflected in the personality.
Soul: At the Universal level, a synonym for God Itself. At the manifest level, the essence of each individualized expression of God.
Spirit: A synonym for God, within Whom all individualized spirits exist. The Absolute. Spirit in humankind is that aspect of each one which enables that person to be conscious of his or herself.
Spiritual Principle: A basic, infallible and impersonal Universal Truth or Law.
Thought-form: "A cluster of associated thoughts on one particular point or issue which gathers energy and establishes a powerful vibration, causing an effect in the physical world." (Price: With Wings as Eagles, pg. 39)
Transmute: To transform or change from one form, nature, substance or state into another. To re-create.
Truth, or Universal Truth: Eternal Truth, or God's Truth as opposed to that which may be perceived as "true". Truth is a synonym for God. That which is changeless Reality.
Soul-Zone: A state of consciousness where there is total awakeness, awareness and alertness in the new now present moment. The place where creation happens.
Absolute: 1. Perfect in quality or nature; complete.
2. Not mixed; pure. See synonyms at PURE.
3. a. Not limited by restrictions or exceptions; unconditional:
absolute trust.
b. Unqualified in extent or degree; total:
absolute silence. Not to be doubted or questioned; positive: absolute
proof.
Philosophy. Something regarded as the ultimate basis of
all thought and being.1
God. Spirit. Universal Intelligence.
Relative: Considered in comparison with something else: the relative quiet of the suburbs. Dependent on or interconnected with something else; not absolute.1
